Since forming Verdad Residential in 2021, the team has over 500 units in planning/construction phases.

Avera, Verdad’s proprietary brand unveiled in 2022 will unite all communities in name, identity, and ethos.

The name Avera derives from the Latin word avere, meaning “to be well,” as well as vera, which means “true”, which ties into Verdad’s core values of truth and transparency.

Every property is thoughtfully crafted, and each amenity has been carefully selected to cater to the needs of our residents, ensuring comfortable, quality, and convenient living.


Through partnerships cultivated from its Retail and Self-Storage businesses, Verdad created an internal development team to focus on site selection, financial underwriting, entitlements, construction management, and asset management of luxury rental communities throughout Texas.

Development Process

From site selection, financial underwriting and market research, entitlements, architectural and interior design, our development team convert our vision for a residential community into a reality. We do so by working with the best consultants and third parties in the industry.

Construction Management

We hire the best-in-class general contractors for the construction of our communities and manage with our internal team of construction management experts. We do this to make sure we build our communities on time and on budget.

Asset Management

We manage our properties’ asset-level performance by assessing and forecasting risk, capital expenditures, and administration. During construction, we create a strategy to maximize value and operational efficiency when the property is ready for residents.
